History

CADELEC started in 1986 as a custom development for a major automotive parts manufacturer.

International distribution and localization started in 1988, when CADELEC was first exhibited at a trade show in Paris, France. and Siscad SA was formally incorporated in Switzerland.

From a 3-people part-time venture we have evolved to a medium-sized and strongly focused software development and support organization. Our team of 11 software engineers is working on constantly improving and adapting CADELEC to the demands of our customers. New, improved versions are published every 1-2 years in parallel with new AutoCAD versions.
